I’m the creator of Meikles & Dimes, a podcast dedicated to the simple, the practical, and the underappreciated. Episodes cover science-based topics in decision-making, communication, negotiation, health, and performance psychology. Interview episodes, called Layer 2 episodes, include guests from business, academia, health care, journalism, engineering, and athletics.

I’m also a business professor at the University of Kansas where I teach leadership. Previous academic stops include Notre Dame where I taught negotiation; Utah where I earned a Ph.D. in organizational behavior; Stanford where I earned a law degree; and BYU where I earned a business degree and played football. I also worked as a sideline reporter for BYU football for nearly a decade.
